Kylie Hannan - Director
Company Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary/Modern, Lines, and Technique Classes
Kylie has been dancing since an early age and started off with the foundation of dance, ballet at McBride School of Dancing. She later discovered the expanding world of dance including jazz, lyrical, hip hop and modern. She later trained at Tammy’s School of Dance, Pure Dance and Harbour Dance Centre. Competing solo’s, groups, choreography pieces and attending workshops and master classes all over Canada and the United States.
She later joined the Source Dance Company directed by Joanne Pesusich based out of Harbour Dance Centre in Vancouver. This opportunity opened up to many jobs and performances in the lower mainland including dancing for various singers, Roxy and Quicksilver clothing, The Dragon Boat Festival, Various Club Promotions, New School music video, choreographing for music artists, etc.
However Kylie’s true passion is teaching, she has been instructing for over 10 years in all disciplines of dance. Watching someone’s determination and hard work finally pay off is an amazing gift in life. Her dancers have been very successful in competitions all over British Columbia and in the North West States. She has received numerous highscore and choreography awards for her routines.
Kylie believes in the studio growing, improving and supporting each other as a family.

Kim Klassen - Company Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Lines, and Technique Classes
As one of the top teachers and choreographers in BC, Kim Klassen brings style, passion and technical artistry to students throughout the province. Having trained professionally both in North America and Europe, Kim has studied a variety of disciplines including tap, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, ballet and contemporary.
Throughout her career, Kim has received numerous awards and accolades for both her choreography and her teaching methods. Most recently she was invited to attend the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing summer residency in the UK where she continued her training in dance teaching methodologies. In her perpetual pursuit for understanding movement beyond the steps, Kim has completed numerous tap and ballet exams and holds her Associate with the ISTD in the tap dance faculty.
Kim’s education extends beyond the studio as well. Not only has she completed her undergraduate studies at Simon Fraser University, she is currently working towards the completion of her 2nd university degree, this time in the faculty of education. Kim has also been a guest lecturer at Surrey’s ‘Ready, Set, Learn’ conference, speaking to how movement helps to develop motor skills in young children.
A number of Kim’s graduate students have gone on to post secondary dance studies and university programs, while others have gone on to work professionally within the industry.
While currently on faculty at Fusion Force, Kim is recognized for her challenging and inspiring classes. Kim also continues to teach workshops and master classes throughout the season and aims to share her extensive knowledge with each student she meets.
Heather MacDonell - RAD Ballet
Born in Calgary, AB. Heather began ballet and character dance training in Madame Cheremeteff’s School of Russian ballet. Later she joined the Calgary Ballet School as a member of the Young Canadians. This brought many travel and performing opportunities.
As an adult living in Vancouver she was fortunate to resume her Vaganova training with Nadia Kalmanovskya of the Kirov ballet. This association brought the wonderful chance to take several summer schools with the famous Madame Kurgapkina, ballet mistress for the Kirov’s company, amongst other greats such as Patricia Slater, and Christina Alvarez of the Cuban National Ballet. When Madame Kalmanovskya decided to move to LA, Heather, a registered nurse at the time, decided to follow her passion and become a ballet teacher herself. She auditioned,for the Royal Winnipeg’s Ballet teacher’s training program. Upon graduation she was invited to teach in the recreational school and sometimes fill in for the professional school She is very grateful for the kindness & expert mentoring she received during her five years with the RWB.
Since leaving Winnipeg Heather has had the opportunity to live and work internationally for many years. Heather then returned to British Columbia to teach in several schools. Inspiring and touching the lives of so many ballet students from Ghana West Africa and Europe Heather relies on her past influences, plus knowledge from Vaganova, Cecchetti, RAD & is always seeking new methods. Heather aims to provide a well balanced system of teaching students technique, while developing the creative & artistic side of all students,plus keeping them injury free. She looks for ward to meeting new students and sharing her passion.
Alex Worthen - Recreational Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre
Alex's love for dance started at a very young age and soon it was clear that she belonged in the studio. With her first classes at just 3 years old, Alex continued intensive training in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern and musical theatre. As a pre-teen Alex was given the opportunity to teach dance and soon realized this is what she was meant to do. Since then, Alex has had a wide variety of teaching experience in all styles within a number of recreational centers, studios and public schools across the lower mainland. She has gained knowledge and expertise in working with all ages, from as young as two years old to an adult level. Alex has always been inclined to create and has won multiple awards for her choreography. Alex's commitment and talent is shown in her work and her passion is reflected in the accomplishments of every individual she has taught. Alex began teaching for Fusion Force in 2009, and has found a home here ever since.
Adam Mckinnon - Company & Recreational Hip Hop
Adam Mckinnon is a professional dancer and choreographer. He has danced professionally for fifteen years, and specializes in Hip Hop, Street Jazz, and many commercial styles. Adam has danced for many Recording Artists (Nelly Furtado, Michael Buble, Carly Rae Jepsen, Marianas Trench, Dallas Smith), Commercials (Coca Cola, Chips Ahoy, Apple Bess, Kiss Radio), Television (Fringe, Caprica) and Film (X-Men, Sucker Punch, Street Dance 3D, Jackhammer), and many more. Adam has also created Vancouver's biggest dance showcase Vancity Project (Choreography Showcase), and has also created one of Vancouver's most popular dance crews OTW Crew (Ones To Watch). Adam is quickly becoming one of the most sought after choreographers from Vancouver, he has had the opportunity to travel the world (Philippines, Mexico, Europe, USA, Canada) teaching at conventions, workshops, touring with artists, teaching masterclasses, and continues to travel and share his passion for dance. Adam continues to push himself as a dancer, choreographer, and artist to be better able to train his students and inspire others to do the same. Adam is a very passionate, inspiring, driven, and creative choreographer who brings his whole self to the art of dance.
Emma Willey - Company Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Acro
Emma found her love for dance at the early age of 4. She is fully trained numerous styles of dance: Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, HipHop, Musical Theatre, and Ballet where she has completed her Advanced I RAD exam. Currently, Emma dances with GSG Production’s The Dance Initiative where she continues her extensive training to become a professional dancer. Recent music videos that Emma has appeared in are Gina Starbuck’s “Meets the I”, Brooke Turner’s “Convince Me”, Jess Cullen’s “Anthill”, Laurell's "GiRLS" and Kyle Richardson's "Painkiller". She shares her love of dance by teaching HipHop, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Ballet, and choreographing for both younger and older students. Her recent travels to L.A. confirmed her desire to pursuit a career in commercial dance, film, and television. Other interests include training with the Vancouver Circus School, singing, an acting.
Kelsey Ziegler - RAD Ballet
Kelsey has been apart of the dance industry for over 20 years, and has competed, trained, taught, and performed across Canada and the United States. She started dancing at the age of 3 in ballet before, where her passions flourished as she began to train in jazz, lyrical, and contemporary as she got older. Kelsey trained with the Goh Ballet and Arts Umbrella in her early teens, finding her passion in ballet and lyrical. Around the same time she was asked by dance teachers to become a teacher’s assistant, which lead to Kelsey finding her love for teaching. At this point, Kelsey began assisting between her training as much as possible.
Kelsey believes that every student can reach their goals with the correct guidance and training; she is an advocate in wanting to help her students achieve their dreams and be by their side when needed. She has high expectations of her students in the classroom and in life, and expects them to have high goals for themselves, which gives her students the right push into becoming strong, passionate dancers.
Kristin McFadden - Recreational Tap
Kristin brings with her over 10 years of teaching experience over multiple disciplines including tap, stage, jazz, lyrical, modern, and contemporary where she has taught throughout the lower mainland and Australia. With her own passion of dance she brings energy and creativity to help her students find what makes their own passion unique. She previously attended Langley Fine Arts School where she was awarded the Top Dance Student award and was a member of the Esprit de Corps dance company which traveled across the lower mainland and United States. Kristin is a practicing Kinesiologist where she completed her Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. Within her dance instruction focus is given to injury prevention and conditioning to keep dancers’ bodies safe. She is very experienced in providing active rehabilitation and treatment for injuries both acute and chronic and is devoted to educating dancers on how to keep their bodies safe from injury. Kristin strives to make the dancer’s experience fun and educational and helps the dancers explore why they love dance and what it brings to their lives.
Kim Durham - Company Acro
Kim started her gymnastic career at the age of four. When she turned nine years old, Kim won the Western Canadian Gymnastics Championships and was subsequently asked to train with the U.S. Olympic Coach. As Kim continued her gymnastic career, she was also training full time in dance (Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Musical Theater, Song and Dance, and Acrobatics) at Vi Cameron School of Dance. Kim was a Cast Member of the Surrey Arts Theatre which produced plays such as Finnians Rainbow and Fiddler on the Roof. Kim has maintained fitness and learning to this day. Kim has successfully completed "Training Turnout and Flexibility" Workshop for Teachers. Kim is very passionate about teaching and loves working with every level of dancer who expresses interest in Acrobatics, For the past two decades, she has been an Acrobatic Dance Teacher and Choreographer for both competitive and recreational levels at both the National and International Levels for Acrobatics. Kim is a very talented Coach and Choreographer which has led her students towards a successful path and future. Many of her performing groups have won top honors at Local and International Competitions including taking top spot at the Tacoma Regionals and Hawaii Dance Experience in Waikiki Hawaii. During the 2016 and 2017 Dance Competition season, Kim led both of her Competitive Acrobatics Teams for both years to be undefeated and Provincial Acro Champions, and continues to lead her Competitive Acrobatics Teams with Overall High Scores, etc. each year. Kim has achieved high honours as a Trainer and Choreographer over the years and continues to do so each year. This includes Choreographer of the Year, Diamond Choreographer, Adjudictor's Choice and Teacher's Choice at numerous competitions across the Lower Mainland. Additionally Kim has been recognized and was selected to receive the Arty Award in 2005 for all her contributions to the community of Abbotsford, Some of Kim's credit in the community of Abbotsford includes choreographing for our very own B.C. Summer Games in 2004 and 2016, collaborative credit for the opening ceremonies for the Senior Summer Games and she has also had the opportunity to work with the community of Vancouver with the Fortheloveofityouth on Granville Island. Kim continues to share her love of dance and acrobatics with her students of all ages.
Dawn Kozol - Ballet Technique
Dawn studied and trained in South Africa, graduated from the Johannesburg Art Ballet Drama Music School. Majored in RAD Ballet and Cechetti, IDTA Jazz, Contemporary, Also performed in Classical Greek, Spanish and National dance. Furthering her studies in ISTA Ballet and progressive ballet technique.
She had the opportunity working with Lenard Prinsloo of the PACT Ballet Company, and been the artistic director of the Europerette project of the Lehár Festival Bad Ischl, and had the offer to dance with him in Germany.
Dancing with professional teachers, that inspired her even further as a dancer and choreographer. Gave her the passion and drive she has for Ballet to give back what she learned from them as a teacher. She also had the honour of Choreographing Dance numbers for Junior Miss South Africa. She has always loved performing and love’s sharing the passion and drive for dance through teaching and choreographing.
Dawn’s Professionalism and commitment to each student, When teaching children you so want to build a passion for the art. She seeks to inspire others with her love for the performing arts and always strive for perfection.
